Fueled by therapeutic music specialists and highly trained volunteers, our flagship in-hospital MusicRx program provides bedside music medicine and live acoustic hallway performances in pediatric hospitals and units throughout Oregon and SW Washington. With a state-of-the-art mobile music cart loaded with its own sound system, recording studio and extensive instrument and iPod/iPad lending library, our team brings music into all pediatric units such as PICU, NICU, rehabilitation, hematology/oncology, burn units, as well as general pediatrics. We have also partnered with the following hospitals in California to help launch MusicRx: Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach and Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in Los Angeles, with plans for future expansion to other U.S. cities.Music Heals.
